Get ready for a night of brand-new theatre, created in less than a week!

Conceived by local playwright Claire Waldrop and inspired by a program at Ohio University, ThePlay Potluck brings together five to six writers for a unique theatrical challenge. Each writer will receive a prompt from the producers on the Monday before the performance. And then the clock starts ticking!

With just a few days to write a five- to ten-minute play, the writers must also assemble their casts, rehearse their pieces, and get them ready for the stage.

The result? Five to six brand-new plays, written and rehearsed in a matter of days, making their world premiere at Theatre Downtown!

You never know what you'll get at Play Potluck, but you can be sure it will be fresh, unexpected, and completely original. Join us for this one-night-only theatrical experiment on Saturday, September 19 at 7:00 PM.
